Naomi Goldman
Naomi Goldman is Principal of NLG Communications, an award-winning public affairs, strategic communications and crisis management firm that delivers innovative strategies that engage communities, safeguard reputations, advance policy and business agendas and affect social change. She has served in senior leadership roles to several elected officials and has directed high-impact communications programs for more than two decades for some of the nation’s most respected local, state and federal public agencies, Fortune 500 companies, academic institutions, nonprofits and foundations.
Goldman’s crisis experience spans the spectrum from contingency planning and risk assessment through rapid response, long-term recovery and resilience – for clients including the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (Metrolink), Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Los Angeles Unified School District, Equity on Fire/Los Angeles Women in the Fire Service, California Governor’s Office, Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, CalEPA, Anthem WellPoint, Safeway/Vons, Citadel Outlets, UCLA Healthcare, J. Paul Getty Trust and in response to the “Dark Knight” movie theater shooting in Aurora, CO and Rep. Gabby Giffords shooting in Tucson, AZ.
Goldman is a founding Board member of California Women in Homeland Security and is on the board of several statewide and national advocacy and political organizations. She has a 20-year relationship serving the community via American Red Cross, and is a Disaster Public Information Officer, Emergency Preparedness Educator and on the leadership of its California State Government Affairs Committee.
